*Discussion/Questions/Comments on the proposed budget.

The Special Town Meeting of the Electors pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes

1. To approve the total highway expenditures for 2012 pursuant to Section 82.03 of Wisconsin Statutes.

Motion Chris Upper/Kendall Kahl that the Town of Berry spending limit for 2012 for highways be set at the sum of $377,937 plus the 2011 town highway spending limit less the actual expenditures for roads in 2011 and plus any emergency funding or grant funding for highways or gifts specifically for highways that the Town receives in 2012. Motion carried. Vote 13-0 Verbal vote.

2. To adopt the 2011 town tax levy to be paid in 2012 pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes

Motion Chris Upper/Alex Gemrich to adopt the 2011 local levy at $385,418 and to adopt the Fire and EMS budgets to make a total local levy of $495,036. Motion carried. Vote 13-0 Verbal vote.

Motion Kendall Kahl/Karen Upper to adjourn at 7:43 pm. Motion carried. Vote 13-0 Verbal vote.
