Dog License
In Dane County all dogs need to be licensed.
Dog license fees are $12.50 per neutered male or spayed female, $17.50 per un-neutered male or un-spayed female, and $42.00 per multiple dog license. An additional $5 delinquent fee will be charged if the license is not paid prior to April 1st. The April 1st deadline does not apply if you obtained your dog after April 1st or your dog was not 5 months of age prior to April 1st. Licenses are for the calendar year. A new license is not required if you move into Berry during the calendar year and have already purchased a license from your prior municipality, but you should notify the original municipality of the new address. When applying for a dog license you will need to furnish the following:
- A completed application form
- Proof of rabies vaccination certificate from vet
- Payment in full payable to Town of Berry
- A self addressed stamped envelope
