Meeting was called to order at 7pm

The newsletter publication policy
was reviewed with the following
recommendations for the board:
· Include within the policy guidelines/review process
for contributors submitting articles:
o
Deadline to
submit articles
o
o
o
No guarantee
that articles contributed will run.
· Board members
are not to be exempt from having articles edited when necessary (misinformation
will be corrected; opinion will be deleted or reworded to follow intent of the
policy, articles may be pruned to fit space).
· The
following items be moved into the acceptable content list:
o
Social events
open to all town residents including events sponsored by other governmental
bodies
o
Discussion of
working committees
Town email addresses
implementation: Leroy Baker sending addresses
and information to board and committee members this weekend.
Website:. Leroy Baker provided Steve Webber a CD
containing several years worth of newsletters in word
format. Webber will select timeless
articles for uploading to the web. Web
was created in Dreamweaver. Char Ohnstad and Steve Webber to confer as their
schedules permit re Dreamweaver and uploading Town ordinances onto the site.

who will edit the November newsletter (Sue returns late Tuesday, 11/4)
