Ordinance # 2002-4

 

Selection of Alternate or 2 or More Sets of Election Officials

 

   Whereas, pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 7.30(1) a municipal may provide for the selection of alternate officials or the selection of 2 sets of officials to work at different times on an election day.

 

   Now Therefore Be It Resolved, the Town of Berry shall allow for the selection of 2 or more sets of officials to work at different times on election days and to permit the Clerk or his/her designee to establish different working hours for different officials assigned to the same polling place.  Alternate officials shall also be appointed in a number sufficient to maintain adequate staffing of the polling place.

 

   This Ordinance will become effective upon posting as provided by law.
